Tomison Beckwith was born Tomison Horn, baptized 25 March 1841 in
Redmire, daughter of Ralph and Margaret (above, nee Storey). She
married John Beckwith sometime before 1871. Ralph and Thomas Horn
above are Tomisin's illegitimate children. With John she has three
children baptized in Redmire before John died in 1876. By 1881,
Tomasin is married to John Harker of West Witton, and living at 34
Wooley Terrace in Crook & Billy Row, County Durham, with one new
child by John Harker.
8 month old William, baptized 1 October 1871, is the son of John and
Tomison. Two more children were baptized in the village: Margaret
Mary, 21 September 1873 and Elizabeth, 7 October 1877.

Nothing is known of William and Mary Ann's parentage. They were in
Redmire by the time of the 1901 census, at which time Mary Ann's
birthplace is given as Bellerby. William died at Castle Bolton in
1926, and Mary Ann in 1910.
