This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah Peacock of Redmire in the North Riding of the County of York, Widow, made this eigth day of January one thousand nine hundred and nine.

I appoint Robert Horn of Castle Bolton in the Riding aforesaid Farmer and John Stringer Calvert of Darlington in the County of Durham (hereinafter called my Trustees) to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will.

I give and bequeath all my furniture plate linen china glass and all other household effects unto my daughter Hannah Peacock absolutely.

All the rest residue and remainder of my estate both real and personal I give and devise and bequeath unto my Trustees upon trust to sell call in and convert the same into money and after payment thereout of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the expenses of proving this my Will to invest the residue in some investment authorized by law and pay the income thereof to my son Edward Peacock during the term of his natural life. And from and after his decease upon trust to divide the same equally between my three daughters Jane Stringer Calvert, Sarah Horn and Hannah Peacock Provided always that if any of my said daughters shall die in my lifetime leaving issue who shall attain the age of twenty one years then such issue shall take (and if more than one equally between them) the share which his or her parent would have taken of and in my residuary estate if such parent had survived me. And if there shall be no such issue then as any of my said daughters shall by deed or Will appoint

And I declare that my Trustees may postpone the sale calling in and conversion of my said residuary estate or any part thereof for so long as they shall in their absolute discretion think fit without being answerable for any loss occasioned thereby and shall pay and apply the income in the same manner as if the same had been converted under the trusts hereof.

Lastly I revoke all former Wills and other testamentary dispositions and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year aforesaid.

Signed by the said Sarah Peacock the testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request and in the presence of each other all being present together at the same time have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the same having been first read over to her in our presence when she appeared perfectly to understand the same and made her mark thereto in our presence.

On the Sixth day of December 1915 Probate of this Will was granted at York to Robert Horn and John Stringer Calvert the Executors.
