Living with the Espiner family in 1841, was Eleanor Judson age 65:

ESPINER James | 30 | Farmer | Yks |
ESPINER Elizabeth | 35 | Yks | |
JUDSON Eleanor | 65 | Independent | Yks |
WARRINER Mary | 15 | F. Servant | Yks |

In 1851, Eleanor was in her own home.

JUDSON Eleanor | Head, Widow | 78 | Annuitant | Castle Bolton |
TENNANT Rebecca | Visitor, Widow | 60 | Land Proprietor | Castle Bolton |
TENNANT Isabella | Visitor, Unmarried | 62 | Land Proprietor | Castle Bolton |
SIMPSON Elizabeth | Servant, Unmarried | 18 | House Servant | Swineside |
Eleanor must have had a daughter Mary Ann, because Mary Ann died in 1848 and left bequests to her mother and `nephew' James Espiner on his attaining the age of 21 (so perhaps a son of the James Espiner in 1841?) Another interesting bequest in Mary Ann's will was to her sister, Rebecca Wilkins of Louisville, Kentucky.
Eleanor Judson was buried at Wensley, 10 January 1854, aged 82.
