James Peacock was born 22 April 1779 in Castle Bolton, and baptized there 24 April, the son of Mark Peacock and Priscilla, nee Rogers. On 28 June 1803 he married Elizabeth Wensley. This is the only time James and Elizabeth appear on the census: Elizabeth was buried 27 March 1844 and James was buried 8 October 1847.

Mary is their daughter, baptized 24 December 1815. Shortly after the census, in February 1842, Mary is married to Joseph Horn, and can be seen in 1851 with her new husband.

Jane is Jane Knowles, the widow of Thomas Peacock. She married Thomas Peacock, the son of Mark Peacock and Priscilla Rogers, 18 May 1807. Priscilla is their daughter, baptized 7 February 1813. This is the only time we see Jane--she was buried 26 November 1844 aged 64 (b 1780)

Ralph was baptized 3 February 1777 in Castle Bolton, the son of Mark Peacock and Priscilla, nee Rogers. On 26 January 1799 he married Catherine Constantine, the daughter of Michael Constantine and Phebe Storey. Catherine was baptized 13 June 1773 in Redmire. Their children seen above are:

Michael and Alice's son Henry died shortly after the last census on 22 December 1862, and was buried on Christmas day. His memorial also tells of the children who died young earlier:

Young Michael was in trouble later in 1871. Mary Brown of Leyburn appeared at the bastardy sessions on 29 September and 27 October, both times adjourned, and a final time 24 November 1871, naming Michael Peacock Jr., stonemason of Castle Bolton as father of her child.

John Harland is the son of Michael and Alice's daughter Elizabeth, by George Harland, whom she married 28 March 1875. Elizabeth died on 16 July 1878 and was buried in Redmire 18 July 1878. She and George had one more son, George Henry, who died 4 August 1878 aged 5 weeks (4 weeks according to the church register), indicating Elizabeth probably died through complications in childbirth.

Michael and Alice's son John died 16 July 1879, and was buried in Redmire 20 July. His headstone reads:

Michael and Alice also die before the next census. Their headstone reads:
