Isabella is the illegitimate daughter of the above Sarah Mason, nee Chapman. At the Leyburn bastardy sessions, in November 1862 and January 1863, Sarah identified Joseph Raw, joiner of Carperby as the father.

In 1881, Isabella is in service with the Allen family in Hawes.
