Note that there is another John Burnett born in Preston under Scar in
the same year, illegitimate son of Mary, baptized 4 December 1831.
They are differentiated by the marriage of John Burnett (illeg. of
Mary) to Mary Ann Craddock, 22 March 1856 in Wensley, at which he
gives his father's name as John. In the 1881 census of Garriston, the
unmarried John is living with sister Alice, known child of William and
Mary.
